My name is Michele Foster and I am the owner of M. Foster Business Solutions. I have worked in the accounting field for over 35 years, primarily in medical billing, collections, and reporting. I spent 30 of those years with one national company, where I had the opportunity to work alongside some wonderful people and build a strong foundation in accuracy, organization, and financial reporting.

After many years in the corporate world, I reached a point where I wanted to build something of my own and create a work life that was a better fit for me. That journey eventually led me to start M. Foster Business Solutions and turn my years of accounting experience into a business where I can help other business owners stay organized and better understand their finances.

Bookkeeping itself has always come naturally to me. I have kept detailed personal financial records throughout my adult life and also handled the bookkeeping for my husband's company using spreadsheets. Seriously, ask me what I spent in 2022 and I probably know exactly where to find it! Today, I use QuickBooks Online, and I can safely say I am happy to leave those bookkeeping spreadsheets behind.

I am also committed to continuing my professional education. I have earned QuickBooks certifications and continue expanding my knowledge through QuickBooks classes, mentorship, and conversations with other bookkeepers, business owners, and CPAs. I believe there is always something new to learn, and continuing to grow helps me provide better support to the business owners who trust me with their books.

When I’m not working with numbers, you’ll usually find me in my garden. Over the past year I loved discovering the joy of growing my own food, how pretty Zinnias are and apparently how many different insects can live in one garden! 😊 One of the things I love about owning my own business is having the freedom to tend to my garden in the morning while also doing work that I genuinely enjoy.

At M. Foster Business Solutions, my goal is to bring that combination of experience, organization, continued learning, and personal attention to every client I work with. I know that trusting someone with your financial information is a big decision, and I want my clients to feel comfortable knowing there is a real person behind the business who genuinely cares about doing the job well.
